Hey, I'm Delaney and I'm a seventeen year old girl trying to make it to eighteen, college, and beyond. Currently, I'm a senior in high school. I'll be attending a local community college for two years, before transferring to the Arizona State University Walter Kronkite School Of Journalism. So yeah, I'd like to be a journalist. My dream job is working for and writing for Rolling Stone or Alternative Press magazines. Of course, I also love writing album reviews at my current age, so I might post a few of those up on this Livejournal.

Brand New is my favourite band, followed closely by Bright Eyes, Johnny Cash, and All Time Low. Other bands I enjoy include Red Car Wire, Conor Oberst, At The Drive-In, the Mars Volta, Say Anything, Blink-182, Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers, Good Old War, Kevin Devine, Thrice, Fall Out Boy, Mae, Four Year Strong, Circa Survive, Cinematic Sunrise, Chiodos, Anthony Green, the Sounds Of Animals Fighting, Iron & Wine, and others. Really, I listen to more individual songs than bands. My favourite song of all time is The No-Seatbelt Song by Brand New, with second place being At The Bottom Of Everything by Bright Eyes.

Fandom is the number one reason I'm on Livejournal. My fandoms include House MD, Fringe, Instant Star, Avatar: The Last Air-Bender, Teen Titans, Batman (comics and movies), Final Fantasy VII, Fight Club, Death Note, Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist, Gossip Girl, and Pushing Daisies.
